It is best to set yourself up for success and ensure you are well hydrated and rested and not ill for your appointment to ensure maximum comfort. Albeit, there are also some areas that are more uncomfortable than others ie. Upper lip. Speak to your electrologist should you feel discomfort during your treatment and she/he can make adjustments to maximize your comfort.

In the area(s) being treated, all of the hairs to be treated do not grow all at one time. Hair grows in a 12 week cycle, where the hairs growing in will be ones that had not yet appeared in previous treatments. Sometimes several treatments to the same hairs will be required to get them back to the langua (fine) stage..
